The Mi-Si acoustic Duo system combines the revolutionary new FLUX active, battery-free magnetic soundhole pickup for acoustic guitar with the Mi-Si Power Charger. The FLUX pickup's active pre-amp is designed specifically to work with Mi-SI's new individual string neodymiuim magnetic sensors.
The design of this active, battery-free magnetic pickup is based on a totally fresh approach to sensing string vibration. The FLUX pickup is not a single coil nor a humbucker. It combines benefits of both - the full bandwidth of single coil pickups and the virtually hum-free operation of a humbucker. The FLUX is an ACTIVE magnetic pickup, so you don't have to worry about the cable capacitance or input impedance of your system - the pure and natural sound of your acoustic guitar will not be altered.
Powering up the FLUX for 60 seconds with the Mi-Si Power Charger will provide you with up to 8 hours of performance time.
